Why Get an Intramuscular Vitamin Injection?
Studies show that many of us are deficient in a number of vitamins and minerals. Vitamin shots are a great way to get yourself back on track. Vitamin absorption through the bloodstream can be more efficiently utilized by the body, whether by injection into a muscle or infusion directly into the bloodstream. Absorption through your digestive system, while also very effective is slower and often requires more frequent dosage.
IM Vitamin Injections are great for those with busy schedules who want to be in and out in 15 minutes or less. You may receive more than one IM injection per day, which will be administered in different injection sites. If you have questions about which injections pair well together toward addressing your goals, please call or text before booking.

What to Expect When Getting an IM Vitamin Injection
After checking in for your appointment, we will take you into an office for privacy. Some injections that are smaller in volume can be given in the arm or deltoid muscle, however, large volume injections like our metabolism booster must be given in a larger muscle such as the dorsogluteal site located on the outer aspect of your buttocks near your hip. Rest assured we are professional and have cared for a wide array of people in the pre-hospital setting for a number of years before transitioning to Carbon Valley IV Therapies. Your comfort and privacy is of utmost importance. We will get you into a comfortable position with the injection site exposed.
Next, the area will be cleaned with alcohol prep and then numbed with an ethyl alcohol spray which feels cold and tingly! Our hope is that you feel as little discomfort as possible. Some clients describe a pinch or dull ache upon injection. Afterwards, we’ll hold pressure and apply a bandage per your preference. That’s it! You can receive more than one IM injection in the same visit, but we’ll have to rotate sites to promote best absorption of the vitamin components. We recommend gently massaging the site if you notice any sensation, but there is no additional aftercare needed. If you have questions or concerns, our nurses would be happy to address them!
Please notify us of any prescription or over the counter drugs you may be taking upon scheduling or before your visit.

IM Injections and What They Do
Amino Blend - $35: The combination of these ingredients and the roles they play may aid the body in: protein metabolism, cell volumizing, increase of human growth, increased vitality, fat metabolism and energy, prevents breakdown of muscle and converts fatty acids into energy.
Vitamin B12 - $35: Essential to brain health, B12 is needed for producing new blood cells, DNA and insulating nerves. A lack of vitamin B12 leads to fatigue, brain fog and rapid aging. Many adults are deficient in this vitamin because it’s poorly absorbed in the stomach when taken with medications such as antacids, antibiotics and aspirin.
Vitamin B complex - $35: This formula helps break down proteins and fats while converting carbohydrates into energy for the body. It’s also known to promote the growth of healthy hair and nails. The complex includes:
L Carnitine - $35: Carnitine is found in nearly all cells of the body and plays a critical role in fueling the production of energy. It transports toxic compounds out of the cellular organelle, preventing any accumulation. It keeps the body’s cells powered and working efficiently.
Vitamin D3 - $35: bone, joint, cardiovascular, and metabolism health. Pair a Vitamin D3 injection with any of our IV Infusions for a healthy boost! This is given as an injection because it must be mixed in an oil for better bioavailability.
Glutathione - $35: Helps with muscle soreness and recovery, improves gastrointestinal and immune function, may help with leaky gut and ulcers, supports brain health (addiction, anxiety depression, Alzheimer's, seizure disorders, and more), promotes muscle growth, supports metabolic and heart health, great as a chemotherapy adjunct to support gut lining permeability.
Lipo-Plus - $35: This is a mix of a fat-burning antioxidants and vitamins that will benefit your weight loss journey. One of the most popular antioxidants. It may help destroy cancer cells and supports immune function and fight off illnesses.
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) - $100/100MG: Famously known as the anti-aging enzyme, NAD is also a source of energy for the cells. It helps with DNA repair, gene expression, maintaining chromosome integrity and the proper functioning of mitochondria. Everyone is born with enough NAD+, but it slowly diminishes with age, and the best way to replenish it is through IV infusion.
Toradol - $35: Toradol is the brand name of a pain medication called ketorolac tromethamine. This NSAID is a short-term treatment for moderate to severe pain symptoms. Toradol decreases the production of prostaglandin, a naturally occurring compound that causes inflammation and pain at the site of tissue damage or infection. Toradol can also help reduce swelling and fever.
Zofran - $35: Zofran is the brand name for a powerful anti-nausea medication called ondansetron — an antiemetic. This class of drugs is specifically designed to reduce nausea and prevent vomiting. Ondansetron also blocks the release of the neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin impacts every part of your body and is found mostly in the digestive system. When serotonin levels rise, they can push out upsetting foods very quickly. The neurotransmitter also stimulates the part of the brain that controls feelings of nausea. By blocking the release of serotonin in the gut and central nervous system, Zofran can prevent this chemical from causing nausea and vomiting.
